Meet Elizabeth and Alan........

This beautiful couple will tie the knot on Valentines Day 2009 ( for all you guys out there, that's February 14th ; )

Once again, we also had a wonderful time shooting.  I love engagement shoots because I really get to learn more about the couple......as individuals and also as a couple.  I think Alan brings out the "kooky" in Elizabeth, but once it's out, it's REALLY out!!!! (and I loved every second of it)

I feel very privileged to know Elizabeth and Alan and absolutely can't wait for their wedding day!

I'm SO excited to be photographing the wedding of the very beautiful and photogenic Priya and Julian.....THIS SATURDAY-12/20/08!! Here are some of their engagement shoot pictures.  We had a blast! They were so funny to work with!  Priya was very focused and took the pictures seriously ( but definitely in a fun way ), while Julian kinda just laughed at the whole thing.

So what's up w/ the CHICKEN???

For those of you who were wondering but were afraid to ask ( and for John, who DID ask me today)........"so what's up with the chicken"...........

First of all, she has a name, it's "Marshmellow".  I photographed Marshmellow about 6 years ago when I was working for Channel 13 ( it was for a TV show ).  Anyway, when I arrived to the shoot, I was amazed at the beautiful PENTHOUSE studio in SoHo w/ tons of natural light that was booked for THIS shoot!  

Marshmellow was a professional "working" chicken w/ a special handler ( a.k.a "agent" ).  At one point the director of the show wanted a shot of Marshmellow flapping her wings,  so he tossed her in the air.  The agent didn't take kindly to that, there were an exchange of words and Marshmellow was replaced w/ a stand in ( maybe a rookie working her way up ?? ).  

I'll never forget Marshmellow or that shoot......

Recent Test

I recently did a test that started off "bridal", but then changed to "bridal... PLUS".......
We had SUCH a great time, and such a great team!!
Make up was provided by Julie Fleming and Hair Styling was by Mia from The Bridal Lounge.
All four models were FABULOUS and I would definitely want to work with them again.
