I'm so excited to announce our "GIVING BACK"- Wedding Giveaway!!! One deserving couple who does good in their community, in their work, or the WORLD, etc. will be chosen to receive wedding services valued at approximately $12,000 (and possibly still growing)!!! I strongly believe that doing good is contagious : )
My sister is a social worker who helps people EVERY DAY with the work she does. I try to attend and help out at her events whenever possible and always feel good after I do. This is when the first ideas started brewing......
Then.....something else happened. I took my mother to the hospital (routine visit) and I got lost on the way to the bathroom. I ended up in the children's hospital. I was touched in so many ways.... Saddened to see so many very sick children, but so happy to see many smiling, positive nurses/doctors walking around, goofing off, giving "good energy".
I give so much credit to people like my sister, nurses, doctors, teachers (and many others).........people who face serious challenges at work every day but STILL keep doing the good work they do because THEY ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
I LOVE my work, it's happy, it's a celebration, it's beautiful, it's loving....I LOVE MY WORK!! This is my way of giving back! Last year I did this on my own and gave away a photography package to a deserving couple. This year our giveaway has grown SO much (contagious : ) and I could only imagine what next year will bring!!!

Carmen, it really is such an honor to participate in this giveaway. The back story you shared on how you got the original idea for the contest is so sweet! You are really moved by life's moments, and that's what makes you such an amazing photographer!
